I recently had this trumpet inspected at a local music store and they gave it the thumbs-up. Serial# is A60985 which dates it to 1991 according to the Getzen date chart. Getzen instruments are high quality, are produced in Elkhorn, WI, and replacement parts are available. This is not a beginner or cheap import trumpet. This trumpet was well taken care of and cleaned after every use. There are other scratches and imperfections from normal use. The trumpet plays well with only one ding right near the center valve(picture 4) this doesn't affect playability or sound quality. The case is solid, but has slight damage on the corners to the outer skin. It comes with a Getzen 7C mouthpiece, Getzen case, 3 cleaning brushes, and valve oil. The valves work well and all slides are easily removable. more playing the tuba and doesn't play it anymore. In nice playable condition is this Getzen 590 Capri trumpet with the desirable silver plating. Original shipping and insurance costs are not refundable on returned merchandise.
